U841A broken down

Hi

After trying out connecting U841A directly to a sound interface with phantom power i seems like it's broken down. Is there some fragile electronic in the microphone? Is it possible to repair it?

low signik on U841a

Hi
I have just received my new u841a boundary mic. When I connect it to my t.c. electronics desktop konnekt 6 firewire sound interface, i have to turn the gain in max on the interface to have a ok soon level. Is the u841a with a special low output signal? I have a new battery in the phantom power box. Can anyone help me?
