How can I tell if the Pro700 are the real ones

The headphone I bought today are suppose to be Audio-Technica ATH-PRO700......After looking at them, they don't have the AUDIO-TECHNICA in white across the top of the headband, like the others. Also on the phones themselves, it says ATH-PRO700 only.....not ATH-PRO700MK2..or ATH-PRO700SV or ATH-PRO700MK2ANV....the cable is straight then coiled then straight. I've never owned Audio-Technica before but for a high end set of phones, I thought they would sound better, than these do. Are these one of the first set of ATH-PRO's, that they made, or are these FAKE? DOES ANYONE, KNOW?
