The first headset of its kind to harness over 50 years of audio engineering technology, the ATH-AG1 provides players with the ultimate gaming experience. Premium 53 mm drivers work synchronously with Audio-Technica’s core double air damping system (D.A.D.S.) and optional USB amplifier to deliver deep, resonating bass and total isolation – effectively blurring the line between reality and the virtual world you’ve entered – while a refined, 3D wing-support system provides the comfort to stay as long as you’d like.
The ATH-AG1 also allows for in-game voice communication through its state-of-the-art microphone feature, and comes equipped with a 1.0 m fixed cord and 2.0 m extension to fit any environment. Detachable USB DAC adapter with built-in headphone amplifier and 3.5 mm gold-plated connector included.
Compatible with PS4, iPad, iPhone, laptops & PC. Also compatible with Xbox One using the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter found at www.xbox.com.

CTIA or OMTP?

Sony uses the old standard, OMTP, which allows headphones that have mics to be used with the PS4. If you use a headset with the OMTP standard on a newer device, such as the Xbox One (which uses the newer standard CTIA), it will not allow you to use the mic but the headphones should work fine. So either way, the headphones will work with both consoles, but which standard does the headset use, OMTP (for use with the PS4) or CTIA (for use with the Xbox One)?

Note: I just want to know the plug standard it uses, for I have both consoles and would like to know which one the mic should work for.

Will this work with the Xbox One?

This product says it works with PS4... The Xbox One's headset adapter is being released in early march, and says it supports any 3.5 mm headset, but the Xbox One is not listed here as a compatible system. So I'm curious if this will work with the adapter that is being released.
