ATR3350 for Interviewing Another Person

If I attached an ATR3350 to my lapel sitting in a quiet conference room, would it be able to pick up the voice of a person sitting next to me that I will be interviewing with a Kodak ZI10 camera? The camera will on a small tripod on the table just far enough away so we can have both of us on the video

I'm using a Kodak Zi8, and built a 1/8" stereo to 2 1/8" mono inputs. (one left channel, one right channel).
That allows you to use 2 of these microphones, one per person. I do mixing in post-process of each channel separately which works nicely.
