Is the cord length in the technical details from the jack to the spit, or from the jack to the earpiece?

I'm looking for a viable option to replace my Apple headset that would have a longer total length so that I could use it with my iMac. Is the cord length listed here (1.2 meters) from the jack to the splitter (to the split between the right and left earpieces) or from the jack to the earpiece?
